Who We Are

When you visit the Movement Family Wellness Center, you can receive important services such as treatments for injuries and disease management with or without insurance. And, because your well-being is about more than your physical health, our team can also connect you with the following resources:

  • housing
  • transportation and food to help you stay healthy
  • psychiatry
  • behavioral health therapy services (available for adults)
  • adolescent healthy eating and exercise program (ages 6-11)

Our healthcare providers take a "whole-person" approach to caring for you and your family. Each morning, they gather as a team to learn who will be in the clinic that day, and to discuss potential needs and how best to meet them. Our goal is to be prepared to address your concerns when you arrive.

We work to know you as a person, not just a patient. We want to learn about the people and activities that you are passionate about, so we can help you stay healthy and able to enjoy your life. We also want to hear about struggles you might be having and how we can help. We have a social worker on staff who can assist you with finding transportation to medical appointments, paying for medications and other things that might previously have kept you or loved ones from getting medical care.

We are proud to be a part of the Reach Out and Read literacy program. Each time your child comes for a well-child checkup, he or she can take home a book. Expectant mothers also can take books for their baby’s at-home library. We believe literacy is an important part of a healthy childhood, and we want children in our care to have books of their own.
